Ahmad Lathan

Ahmad was born and raised in Belleville, Ill. He graduated from SIU-Edwardsville (Go Cougars!) where he majored in Mass Communications with a focus in Journalism. He is also a proud alumnus of Belleville West High School (Go Maroons!).
During his time at college, he worked for the school newspaper, The Alestle, and was an active member of the university's Collegiate 100 chapter.
Before joining KFVS, he worked as an intern-reporter for the Belleville News-Democrat where he covered high school sports along with various topics in the St. Louis Metropolitan area.
While away from work, he enjoys working out at the gym, listening to old school '90s R&B and spending time with his German Shepherd, Jet, back at home.
